Master Teo's Journey
Master Ray Teo has over forty years of Taekwondo experience, professionally teaching since 1981 to students aging from three years to seventy years old. He began Taekwondo at an early age and has participated in many competitions and accumulated many awards.
Ray has owned and instructed in many different institutes, including the Teo’s Taekwondo Institute in Windsor, consisting of three schools; Univeristy of Windsor’s Taekwondo Club, for twenty-three years; and Master Baik’s Taekwondo Institute, situated in Windsor, Kingsville, and Leamington.
In addition to taekwondo, Ray has always had a strong interest in other forms of martial arts, including wing chun, shaolin, tai chi, sword forms, and lion dance. He has been performing both lion and dragon dances for the Canada Day parade in Windsor, Ontario for many years.

Raechell Teo
5th Dan Black Belt
- Started at age of 2.5 years old learning basic moves and stretching skills from her father
- Took TaeKwonDo classes at 4 years old (16+ years experience)
- 3rd Dan Black Belt at 11 years old
- Won sparring and pattern awards in numerous competitions
- Assisted teaching since 8 years old at Wismer, Mount Joy, Castlemore, John McCrae, and North Agincourt Jr. Public Schools, as well as the Salvation Army Church in Markham
Matthew Lee
4rd Dan Black Belt
- Started TaeKwonDo classes at 3 years old (15+ years experience)
- Black Belt at 7 years old
- Assisted teaching since 8 years old at Wismer, Mount Joy, Castlemore, John McCrae Public Schools, as well as the Salvation Army Church in Markham
- Won sparring and pattern awards in numerous recreational and high-performance competitions
- Certified tournament referee
Kamakshi Sarva
2nd Dan Black Belt
- Started TaeKwonDo classes at 5 years old (12+ years experience)
- 2nd Dan Black Belt at 12 years old
- Assisted teaching since 8 years old at Wismer, Mount Joy, Castlemore, John McCrae Public Schools, as well as the Salvation Army Church in Markham
- Won sparring and pattern awards in numerous competitions
Kelvin Lim
2nd Dan Black Belt
- Started TangSooDo, a type of TaeKwonDo, (Moo Duk Kwon) Malaysia in 1983
- TangSooDo combines elements of Shotokan Karate, Subak, Taekkyon, and Kung Fu
- Many years’ experience in TangSooDo training and teaching
- Achieved TangSooDo 2nd Dan Black Belt in 1990
- Joined Master Teo’s TaeKwonDo in 2017 and achieved TaeKwonDo 1st Dan Black Belt
